A Safari for Photographers
Capturing the Story — the story of animals at the heart of Africa
Africa is not just about animals. It is about light. The morning light that moves across the savanna like a river. The clouds around Kilimanjaro at dawn. The moment a great elephant pauses at a waterhole and looks directly into your lens.
This Kenya is for photographers. For those who know that the best image is never an accident — it is made in the right place, at the right time, with the right guide.
Four destinations. One light. Endless wilderness.
Itinerary
Tsavo West — red earth, lava fields, elephants stained deep red. A landscape that rises like a gothic cathedral.
Chyulu Hills — Ol Donyo Lodge — a sunken photographic hide at a private waterhole, super tuskers with ivory over a metre long, Kilimanjaro on the horizon. A world-class hide for wildlife photography.
Amboseli — Elerai Camp — elephants on the open plains, night game drives on a private conservancy. Morning light here has no equal.
Lentorre — Olkirimatian Conservancy — a professional photographic hide at a waterhole, cheetah, leopard, caracal. Animals you will not find anywhere else.
How We Travel
A maximum of five photographers. Two safari vehicles — every seat at a window, side panels removable on request. No crowding, no compromises. Just you, the light, and the story of animals.
African wilderness is not a zoo. Animals are wild and free — and that is precisely what makes every encounter so extraordinary. The likelihood of seeing cheetah, leopard or caracal is very high. It cannot, however, be guaranteed.
Price on request — every itinerary is tailored to you.

Your guide
I’ve been travelling to Africa for thirty years. I know the light, the animals, and the moments that matter. At Lentorre, I work with a local team I trust — people who grew up on this land and know every trail, every waterhole, every animal by name. On my journeys, there is no line between guest and guide. We eat at the same table, ride in the same car, share the same moments. This is not a group tour. It’s a private journey, designed around you.
The expedition is led by Ali Greplova — a wildlife and documentary photographer with over 30 years of experience in Africa. Jury Prize winner, Report Photo Brno 2026.
