You apply through the form. If it feels like a fit, we talk — and from there I shape the journey around you. Not every application leads to a journey, and that is the point.
NOT A TOUR.
A JOURNEY.
My journeys are different.
I have photographed Africa for over thirty years — Tanzania, Kenya, Namibia, Uganda and beyond. In that time I have learned that Africa does not reveal itself to those who race along the main route and tick off the Big Five. It opens slowly, and only to those who know how to be quiet and how to wait.
These journeys are personal and rare. I take you where the ordinary traveller never goes — to waterholes far from the beaten track, to villages where people I have known for years are waiting for us. I show you Africa with its deep emotion, its silence, the morning light when everything is still untouched. And the evening light, when something ends and something begins, and it all meets in a single moment.
This is not adventure for effect. It is an encounter — with the land, with the animals, with the people. With Africa at its purest and most fragile.
And so I choose, with great care, who I share it with.

FAQ
Because these journeys are private and personal. Each year I travel with only a few people, and I want to know who they are. The application is simply how we begin.
Yes. A journey can be just you, or your own private party. It is never a group of strangers.
Yes. I know the places and the times — where to stand, when to be there, when the right light comes. I know where the photograph is waiting.
Every journey is led personally by me, alongside local friends I have worked with for many years. People I trust.
If we share the same way of seeing travel, the journey is entirely private — shaped around the interests and energy of each group.
Every journey is built individually — country, season, lodges, length. Once we have spoken and shaped your journey, you will receive a full, transparent quote.
