Olkirimatian Conservancy, South Rift Valley. 25,000 hectares with no other lodge in sight. Below the lodge, a sunken photography hide — fully air-conditioned, soundproofed, and built into the ground at the waterhole. You sit at eye level with the animals, inches away, behind one-way glass. They can’t see you. You can’t look away.
During the day — zebra, giraffe, elephants drinking right in front of you. At night, the scene changes: leopards, caracals, striped hyena, porcupines. Professional lighting controlled from inside the hide for natural-looking shots after dark. Two beds behind the glass, four more in the next room. A Maasai spotter watches through the night and wakes you when something arrives.
Morning and evening game drives across open plains with views of Shompole Mountain. Afternoons in a Maasai village in golden light. Lentorre has everything you could wish for. You just won’t have time to enjoy it — because you’ll be lying in the hide, waiting for what comes next.
The place
Four private villas and two family units. Maximum sixteen guests — on a private journey with me, you’ll likely have the place to yourself. Each villa stands alone with uninterrupted views, a private plunge pool, and nothing between you and the wilderness. Lunch above the valley, dinner above the waterhole under open sky. Lentorre is the heart of the journey. Around it, we build the rest — Amboseli, Masai Mara, or wherever your interests take you. By car, charter flight, or helicopter from Nairobi. We design your route together.

At Lentorre, I work with a local team I trust — people who grew up on this land and know every trail, every waterhole, every animal by name. On my journeys, there is no line between guest and guide.
